Shiyan Four Door Sideboard

The Shiyan Four Door Sideboard, from Century Furniture, is a large scale piece with rich historic character and unique finishing touches.  This sideboard has a gracious scale and offers a great deal of space both behind the doors and on the surface top. This piece features four square framed panel doors with thick angular framing. Behind the four doors you will find, not only spacious open shelving, but two functional drawers for added storage function. This is finished in an ash black color and is heavily distressed revealing the natural Poplar wood color which is the wood species this piece is crafted from. This piece has a clean lined edge with very little detailing creating an angular but stately design. The distressing treatment creates a charmingly rustic look while maintaining a distinguished heirloom quality, similarly found in primitive antiques.

  • Made of Poplar solids and Okume veneer
  • From the Monarch Collection

” The Shiyan Four Door Sideboard is just so unique. With it’s low and wide design this could be a standout piece in a modern farmhouse style or downtown loft with many other styles in between. A piece with character like this goes from being furniture to becoming art. ”
